The Deadmau5 / Madonna TweetUp ClearUp

Nearly a day after Deadmau5 took Madonna to the meat grinder for allegedly making a drug reference at the 2012 Ultra Music Festival, the two music icons buried the hatchet in a surprise Twitter summit.
Deadmau5 dropped the gloves with Madonna after she surprise-introduced EDM juggernauts Avicii by asking the onlookers "How many of the people in this crowd have seen Molly?"  This enraged the Mau5,
who slammed the pop diva for making a thinly veiled reference to the illegal drug MDMA, which is also alluded to the title of her new album MDNA.
Though she isn't known for her Twitter-presence, Madonna signed on to chat with her fans under the handle @MadonnaMDNAday. Deadmau5 was one of the hundreds of thousands who also signed on. The eared EDM mogul followed up his Tumblr rant by telling Madonna, "You're a role model to 100's of millions. you have a powerful voice, EDM could use your positive influence, not 'molly'-talk".
Madonna tweeted a 1989 image of herself posing with Mickey Mouse ears and a new thought bubble that said "From one mouse to another. I don't support drug use nor I ever will, I was referring to the song called "Have You Seen Molly" written by my friend Cedric Gervais who I almost worked with on my last album.."

Deadmau5 seemingly accepted her apology, responding "fair enough, I was just voicing my concerns as I usually do. +1 respect for clearing it up in person..regardless just be a little more aware of what you should represent at EDM events, and I'll watch my mouth." That was enough for Madonna who cordially replied "Communication is always best, you should have called me, we could have cleared it up 'privately'.. ;) "See you on the road"
